Aromatherapy massage

I currently uses Songbird aromatherapy massage waxes to enhance your massage experience.

Songbird (formerly named Tui) Massage Waxes are a unique blend of Beeswax and Natural ingredients for a supreme massage experience – both for the masseuse and the massaged!  They present as a semi-solid formula which melts immediately onto the skin and provides a working surface that delivers control, smoothness and a perfect finish – without spills, mess and waste.

Lavender Massage Wax is formulated with French Lavender Oil and is one of the most popular massage waxes. This is not surprising as it has been in popular use for a very long time and has been appreciated for its deep healing and calming scent through the ages. Whilst it is very well known for its scent, it never seems to go out of favour and is loved by men and women, making it a very versatile blend. It’s cleansing properties also make it ideal for use as an all over massage wax.

Pacific Nights is the most floral and exotic of the blended massage waxes. The blend of Neroli, Sandalwood Ylang Ylang and makes for a sensual and heady mix of  flowery scents which evoke  feelings of  lounging in the balmy evenings on Pacific Islands – thus named Pacific Nights. Jasmine is relaxing and warming – both emotionally and physically
Neroli, which is obtained from the flowers of the Bitter Orange or Seville Orange is a non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing, non-phototoxic substance. More than 12% of all modern quality perfumes use neroli as their principal ingredient.  Sandalwood was added for its slightly astringent and highly perfumed scent, which Ylang Ylang complements with its sedative and calming properties.   In combination with Sandalwood and Jasmine, Ylang Ylang is often used for its aphrodisiac qualities and can be of great benefit for those with anxiety about intimacy and personal relationships. Jasmine is deepy relaxing and it is a blend often used for facial massage and Indian Head massage.

Mountain Forest Massage Wax was created as a woody scent. This makes it particularly good for use on men and some have called it the Mens Blend,

Mountain forest is best described as piney, smokey,  woody and  foresty.  It’s a blend which best comes into its own when heated through massage on the skin, when the rich notes of Sandalwood pour out and envelop the user.
